About the Client
Vozy is a company specialized in the development of voice and conversational intelligence solutions based on artificial intelligence. Its platform allows organizations to automate interactions through voicebots and conversational channels, improving customer experience and operational efficiency across various industries.
This project details the migration of workloads and services currently deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to Amazon Web Services (AWS). The migration from GCP to AWS enables Vozy to fully leverage AWS artificial intelligence services, such as Amazon Bedrock, strengthening the modernization of its conversational platform and enabling advanced analytics and innovation capabilities.
As Vozy continues to expand its customer base and service portfolio, the company seeks to consolidate and strengthen its cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security, aligned with its growth strategy and technological sustainability.
The Challenge
Although Vozy already had part of its operations on AWS, it still maintained a set of critical workloads on GCP that presented limitations in scalability, costs, and operational visibility. The lack of auto-scaling mechanisms, automated deployment processes, and unified monitoring resulted in operational overhead and reduced agility to respond to demand.
Additionally, direct infrastructure management on GCP led to high operational costs and challenges in implementing standardized security controls.
The Solution
Clouxter designed a phased migration and modernization strategy aligned with the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and the best practices of the Migration Acceleration Program (MAP).
The initiative focused on migrating workloads hosted on GCP to Vozy’s existing AWS organization using a Lift & Shift approach, replicating the current architecture in a multi-AZ environment to improve availability. Managed services such as Amazon RDS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Backup, Security Hub, and GuardDuty were leveraged to ensure traceability, monitoring, and regulatory compliance.
This migration not only enabled Vozy to consolidate its environments on AWS, but also prepared its infrastructure for the future adoption of artificial intelligence services such as Amazon Bedrock, which are critical to the evolution of its conversational platform.
