The new reality we face, added to the new tools given by technology, are changing the worker from their workplace and the labor landscape is influenced, specifically affecting productivity, time, and costs for companies. Due to the above, the expansion of the cloud technology market (cloud computing) is accelerating and positioning itself more and more in Colombia and one of the actions that strengthens it is the establishment of strategic alliances in the technological field.
In that sense, the alliance signed between Clouxter, a Colombian technology provider, and LG Electronics, a global technology leader, the results could not be better in terms of strengthening the service offering in this field. “This process, built through access to lightweight, cloud-compatible devices and workstations Amazon Web Service (AWS), enables remote work for corporate clients located in the national territory and is close to being extended to the rest of the Andean region.” stated Leonardo Suárez, CEO of Clouxter.

Suarez from Clouxter assured that the alliance with LG Electronics has allowed the reputational and portfolio growth of the Colombian firm while extending the offer of remote work environments nationwide, he also stated that: “Consumers have gained access to a comprehensive solution, ideal for the new challenges of companies in different configurations and use models such as purchasing, and leasing.”
Strengthening technological infrastructure meets the needs of new digital workers who require access to the organization’s data using lightweight devices (Thin Clients) or an infrastructure that allows employees to virtually access this information (Zero Clients).
Finally, the implementation of these new technologies allows entrepreneurs to make efficient investments, “These remote work models reduce energy consumption costs by 51%, also having equipment that has a 75% longer useful life.
